The 2d Circuit is holding a hearing on Friday. No word in the article on whether they'll stay the closing, which can happen any time after noon on Friday. Unfortunately the Circuit's PACER page is not as useful as the bankruptcy court's.
Update: The hearing is at 2pm on Friday. There is a stay in place pending the hearing; briefs are due tomorrow by noon. The orders are below.

Thanks for the GM/Chrysler coverage. Were these documnets posted on the docket? I don’t see them as of 12:40PM. In addition, it is strange that you get a record (no documents) when you search by the case number, but nothing when you search by Chrysler, Indiana, Kurtz, Ball, etc (as of 12:40PM).
Thanks-
There are entries for these orders on the 2d Cir. document, but it appears their PACER page does not include images. And I encountered the sample problem, I could not find the case until I knew the case number — searching by Chrysler does not bring up the relevant case (or at least it did not this morning).
It’s too late for this one, but would it have been possible to file amicus briefs on this sort of motion?
One could have filed a motion for leave to file an amicus (probably with the brief here, given the timeline), but I don’t know too many academics who work on the same schedule as Jones Day et al. Most of us would have had trouble clearing our throat in the 24 hours that was available for drafting a brief.
Hate to bother you with administrivia, but can you post the 2nd Circuit case # again? I didn’t write it down, the PDF links aren’t working, and I still can’t find anything by searching party/attornye…
