Even unintentionally. My local Duane Reade drugstore is selling Borders gift cards. And this just days after Bloomberg reported that Borders had not found anyone interested in buying more than little bits of the company.

Now that’s interesting.
So is it the responsibility of Borders to pull all their cards, the store that’s selling them to remove them, or is it totally up to the buyer to be aware that they are purchasing a worthless gift card? Evidently, it is the latter.
