Every time I think I’ve seen it all in the foreclosure fraud space, something new comes along and amazes me. This time it’s not the banks or their vendors, but an AG. David Dayen at FireDogLake has a disturbing story that the Florida AG fired two assistant AGs who dug too deeply into foreclosure fraud issues. If that’s true, the Florida AG is gambling with her own career.

Reasons for the firings have already been offered by Bondi’s office. In my opinion they hold no water whatsoever. This is just another “sweep it under the rug” to protect the guilty kind of move.
Looks like they were the people who put together this presentation:

I imagine (and hope) that the clients start pouring in, knowing that these attorneys will know how to fight the system.
Unless and until you accept the reality of the “he who has the gold makes the rules” version of justice in the USA, you’ll be confused and dismayed by what happened.
We have to finally accept the fact that there is a protected class.
As I had a long lunch with James M last Saturday It is really clear that those who know – dont care – and those who are left will either be collateral damage along the way unless we too – do the right thing.
