What does it mean that the two most common forms of comment spam on this blog are people trying to sell sunglasses or handbags?

I would like to point the finger at Nathalie Martin for the sunglasses/handbag spam, but I know she is a frugal shopper, despite always looking fashionable. So instead, I think it must be something in Stephen Lubben’s Dealbook posts that makes us seem like a blog read by handbag lovers.
Katie, this is so funny! I am frugal and hoepefully fashionable too, but assuming not all blogs get these same spammers, I think Mr. Dealbook is responsible due to the reference to “DEAL.”
P.S. Frugal fashionistas should check out asos.com. Sorry Bob, I hope this does not make things worse. 🙂
